We are WI River Valley RollerGirls (RVRG), Wausau, WI’s first ever Roller Derby League. We are an all female, flat track, skater run, roller derby league. Our league is designed to provide the opportunity for all women to learn the excitement of derby. We have participated in numerous bouts, both home and away, since forming in 2009. Home bouts are held in the Marathon ice arena. Roller derby is a full contact hard hitting sport. There is never a dull moment. Wisconsin River Valley Rollergirls do not discriminate, nor tolerate discrimination
WI River Valley Roller Girls hosted the 3rd annual Shamrock Slam on March 30. It was an all day derby event with skaters from all over Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Illinois. The skaters were divided randomly to make 6 teams that would then battle it out tournament style. At the end of the day the Gold team came out on top.Click here to add text.
